Wonderful, working fireplace with just what we needed to make and sustain a fire in the winter. The cottage was the right size for a couple—perfect. And every need was anticipated. Great guest book with hand-drawn maps to help us navigate the small-village location. Ali was always available, a smiling, warm presence. We had a rental car—absolutely essential for the location on the mountain. When we wanted to leave the mountain (which we hardly wanted to do because it was so divine), the villages nearby were beautiful. We particularly loved Akyaka, a village that seems like a success in city planning. Lovely, simple Ottoman and Ottoman-inspired architecture, a sweeping beach with great restaurants, a harbor, a wonderful, authentic but updated vibe. A beautiful place in every way, super hosts and details in the property. Pool is really well maintai...ned, nature is abundant and its the perfect place to be if you want to read, write, think or create. The house has all you need. Cute little house in the local style. great outside space, lovely maintained pool. great seating are...as and views of the bay while you eat. this place is all about being outside. Has all the basics needed. Just be aware this stay needs a car, the local store is up a steep hill on foot and you need to drive to get to restaurantsand sites.
