The apt is in the middle of Viennas old town - within walking distance from all the sights. There is... a supermarket just around the corner. The opera is also near by - we went to the opera twice and paid only 10 euro pr ticket - same day price, one hour prior to the show. Just had a great time staying in a very central location in Vienna. The apartment was very well equi...pped and perfect for a short stay. The apartment is very clean, so a big thank you! It optimized storage space quite nicely, so you can... put items away to keep it neat and tidy. It is well appointed with a dishwasher, washer, microwave, full sized table and small living room which was a nice bonus. Full sized fridge was appreciated. There is a grocery store steps away which is very handy. This is within walking distance to St Stephens Cathedral, Hohenberg Palace, Opera house, and most importantly has a subway station steps away! It can be a bit noisy in the evening due to its amazing proximity to restaurants and historical sights, but after all the touring throughout the day we were able to fall asleep without a problem. It can also be warm in the summer, but a fan was supplied and worked well. We did arrange a driver through the office to pick us up at the airport, but then we had to go to the office to pick up the key and again we had to drop off on the departure. We did find that to be a bit annoying especially after a long international flight. The driver did help the procedure, however that was an additional expense. Did not love this aspect of the rental. Excellent location, excellent property. This apartment was fantastic. Our kids thought the fold out ...couch was very comfortable. The main bedroom was a great size and also very comfortable. I don't thin there could have been a greater locations to shopping, restaurant and wonderful architecture. Wish we could have stayed longer.
