Don’t come expecting Pottery Barn or Hampton Inn—do expect a comfy queen bed, memory foam futon, cool, artsy, handmade treasures, and a space filled with recycled, reused gems. Enjoy low-fragrance and fragrance-free cleaning and personal care products, and of course, the BIG Montana Sky.

Star gazing here is phenomenal—the kind of night sky you’ll never forget. This cabin offers amazing mountain views, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and the perfect mix of old-meets-new charm.

The space
Welcome to the Roadhouse Vintage Cabin—a cozy, one-of-a-kind retreat in a lovingly restored 1950s motel suite/office. Moved from Whitehall to our sprawling 100+ acre property, this little gem blends nostalgia, creativity, and modern comfort.

We preserved the original metal kitchen cabinets, the linoleum living room floor, and the classic knotty pine paneling (now a fresh, warm white). Vintage light fixtures were reimagined with paper, wood glue, and locally gathered shrub branches and seeds. In the bedroom, a hand-painted paper floor mimics aged farmhouse wood beautifully.

Then, we upgraded:

✔️ Brand-new heated ceramic tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom for toasty toes after a shower or morning coffee.

✔️ A sleek galvanized metal shower surround with a bi-fold glass door.

✔️ A new kitchen peninsula, fresh tile backsplash, and a glass tile counter upgrade replacing the old faux-wood Formica.

Finally, we curated the space with hand-picked original folk art—quirky, bold, and full of character.

Just 10 minutes off I-90, between Whitehall and Butte, Montana, it’s affordable, memorable, and uniquely inviting.

We live on the property but give you complete privacy. Roam our 100-acre property, enjoy the valley views, or cool your feet in the tree-lined creek.
