Stylish and cosy furnishings: large living/dining room with open-hearth fireplace, dining table, cable TV, hi-fi system and DVD. 1 room with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 french bed (1 x 140 cm, length 200 cm). Large, open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 induction hot plates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, steamer, fondue Set (cheese)). 2 showers/WC. Balcony, south facing position and west facing position, small balcony, west facing position. Balcony furniture. Very beautiful view of the mountains. Facilities: logs (extra). Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.
Chalet "Bernese Oberland Chalet 1031", built in 2005. In the district of Am Acher 300 m from the centre of Wengen, on a slope, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet. In the house: central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use). Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, supermarket 300 m, restaurant 50 m, bar, bakery 300 m, 5 minute walk to the centre, railway station "Wengen" 300 m, outdoor swimming pool 600 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 300 m, children's playground 50 m. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

Carrie September 2019This apartment is excellent. Very spacious, clean, well appointed with everything you need. Only 400m from the train station Views from both decks are exceptional. Only minor complaint would be the beds are not the most comfortable.
Rebecca D. August 2019We loved the apartment. It was large and clean with a decent view and a huge kitchen for cooking (although no microwave). The location is good (a 3-4 minute brisk walk up the hill to the train station and grocery store). The shower was very nice with great water pressure. Our only complaints were the slow internet (our limited-data hotspot that we brought with us was much faster) and the Interhome staff was good, but not great. They were very friendly, but the listing was for two showers and only one was working and they did not offer any type of discount or concession in exchange. Also, I emailed them before coming to see if the apartment had a hairdryer because I did not want to lug mine around for our whole multi-country vacation. They told me there was no hairdryer because it was not listed on the website. But in fact, there were two hairdryers in the apartment. I really wish they had actually checked! But all-in-all if fast internet isn't important, I would recommend this place.

The first impression is always a lasting one. As I opened the front door, the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the apartment and it's layout. I knew from that moment on that my stay here would be comfortable - and it was. Extremely happy with my choice and next time I am in Wengen, there is no other place I would go to. This is our second stay at this chalet apartment. We were there about 3 years ago as a couple and this time another couple joined us. It is perfectly clean. There is a partial mountain view blocked by other chalets. It is close to the train station - about 5-7 minute walk, depending on whether you're going uphill (on the way to the station) or downhill. Close to the Coop - the grocery store. Really nicely decorated in a modern style. Beautiful wood floors, ceilings and walls. Lots of windows. The lighting is a bit inadequate at night, but we went to bed early to go hiking the next day. Kitchen is well equipped. Great bathrooms with great showers. Laundry facilities in the basement are great, except if you don't speak German...then you will need help. I wish there were English instructions for all the appliances, but it is their country, not mine :) The staff at InterHome was great, helpful as can be. We requested an iron and extra pillows and they were at our front door in the morning. We were completely happy with the accommodations and hope to go back again. It really doesn't get any better than Wengen.
