Steve B. July 2014It is hard to write an accurate review that doesn't sound like a commercial; Racer's Retreat is that good! This property is simply delightful. Clean, well equipped and of a quality seen in few other rental properties. The chalet is a 25 minute walk from the railway station, a little less from the shops and restaurants. It is a wonderful walk. Incredible views over the valley, the lights of Wengen at night, and a lively stream that just begs to be photographed. Racer's edge provided the perfect Swiss experience for us. Fabulous views, waking to the sound of cow bells every morning, far enough from the village to feel that you are in your own alpine meadow, but close enough to make it easy to get to the station and the COOP. I cannot think of a more perfect place to spend a Swiss vacation. Strongly recommended.
