Three families stayed very comfortably in this home. Check-in was easy and communication was great w...ith quick responses with Mark as well as Jeeves, the property management company. The house was clean and pretty well stocked with towels and other essentials. We did have a few issues -- the hot tub was low, there was not a hose at the property but a neighbor let us borrow one to fill, however it just started draining again. Jeeves came once to fix it, but must not have done so correctly, 2nd time they came out it was fixed but we were only able to really use the hot tub for two of our six nights. Jeeves also showed up one day unannounced and entered the house, startling my mother in law who was staying at the house for the day with the baby. The upside to this was that they were bringing back a new full sized dryer as there was just a small temporary unit in the home. Other than that, the kids never really wanted to leave the pool. They also loved the game room and had some fun ping pong tournaments. We did have some noisy neighbors and another set of neighbors that checked in during our last couple of days that played loud, explicit music all day long. Thankfully, our kids were mostly oblivious to it. One of the main reasons we chose this area to stay was for the clubhouse pool -- we thought the kids would like the lazy river and slides. They did, but still preferred the house pool as the clubhouse pool was VERY crowded. That was to be expected though as it was spring break after all. But what really kept us from going back to the clubhouse was the hassle of having to sign everyone in each time and get wristbands, not to mention, the staff working were incredibly unfriendly. Our group of 19 absolutely LOVED staying in this home! The property owner is incredibly thoughtful, ...kind, and responsive. This is so important, as there are MANY homes in Champion's Gate, and most are managed by big management groups that give very little attention to detail, and even swap out properties at the last minute. It is very clear that this home is lovingly attended to, and that the guest is a priority. The property is clean, well maintained, and in excellent condition. We appreciated small details like every single bathroom being stocked with starter shampoo/soap (because the last thing you want to do after a long travel day is realize you have to run to the store before you can shower). Our vacation was a total success because we never felt like we were all crowded on top of eachother. The kids hung out in the theater room, the teens in the game room, some adults in the upstairs living room, some in the downstairs living room, no fighting over bathroom space or showers... it was just absolutely perfect and made for such a relaxing week! I didn't realize how necessary a second fridge was but we LOVED having a fridge just for drinks and sodas in the game room. The big kitchen was AMAZING. Due to COVID, we mostly just stayed at home, and cooked big meals every single night. We loved the counter space, the bar stools, and being able to spend time with the folks in the kitchen while we hung out in the living room due to the open floor plan. The pool was PERFECTLY heated when we arrived. Sadly, we only had a few days of pool usage because the outdoor temps were low, so there was no pool or spa heat at all for the 2nd half of our stay (we were fairly warned this was a possibility, but it was still a big disappointment to all the kids). Oddly, the Oasis clubhouse also had the same issue. The pool AND hot tub were FREEZING the 2nd half of the week. The hot tub was actually colder than the swimming pool. It was a big disappointment, but not a reflection at all on this property or the property owners, just sharing our experience to help set expectations if you are traveling over the winter months. Our extended family of 18 had a wonderful time together staying at this property. We had plenty of r...oom and the kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub, theater room and game room. The kitchen was big enough for 3 people to make lunches at the same time for the next day. The only negative is that, while we followed the quiet hours after 11:00, the neighbors around us did not and were partying until 2:00am on a few occasions. The location is around 30 minutes to the Disney parks and was easy to get to thanks to iphone directions.
