Water slides
Blue or green? Which will you pick? Storey Lake Resort has two different water slides, one enclosed and one open-topped, for you to choose from whether you're young or young at heart.
Splash park
Younger children will love playing in the extensive splash park. There are plenty of water fountains, jets and canons to keep your little ones cool and entertained as they run through the water.
Swimming pool
As well as the lazy river and splash park, you'll also find a heated swimming pool which bears more than a passing resemblance from above to a certain famous mouse, as well as poolside loungers for relaxation.
The pools are open daily 9am to 9pm.
Kayak rental
There certainly aren't many resorts in Orlando which boast their very own lake access. You can hire kayaks or canoes, either for 30 minutes or an hour, depending on how long you would like to be out on the water for. Or, if you just want to spectate, you can always watch from the loungers on the sandy lakeside beach.
Mini golf and other sports
The uniquely-sited 9-hole mini golf course sits right in the centre of the lazy river. Just make sure you have a decent aim, or you might be taking your next shot from the water! Plus, you can serve up on the sand volleyball court, or channel your inner NBA player with a few basketball hoops.
Fitness Centre
If walking around the theme parks isn't enough for you, then Storey Lake Resort has a fully-equipped fitness centre, so you can still fit in a daily workout during your trip. You'll find treadmills, free weights and all-in-one machines, and the fitness centre is open from 5am to 12midnight, so it's perfect whether you are an early bird or a night owl.
Regular activities
With theme parks, shops and restaurants galore, there's plenty to keep you entertained within a short drive of the resort. But, you'll also find a wide choice of on-site activities too.
A regular activities and entertainment programme includes the likes of arts and crafts, bingo, giant jenga, scavenger hunts, trivia nights and sunset karaoke for all the family.

A great house with plenty of amenities near by. The pool and barbecue in the yard were the highlights for us. The two large beds were very soft, but very comfortable. The house was clean and just a pictured in the listings. There were only three of us staying, so we had a lot of extra space - it was like having an east wing that we never even ventured into. We would definitely recommend this house. We had no issues with the communal facilities being too busy - it was lovely to float around on the lazy river followed by a nice relax in the hot tub. You will need your parking permit with you to get into these facilities. Just remember (as indicated in the listing) to bring your own detergent, dishwasher tablets and spare toilet paper. There are no washing products included and just one toilet roll per toilet. We would definitely stay again if we were back in Orlando.

This is an amazing home. My family felt at home in this cozy and beautiful house. The house is clean and everything is of good quality. I also liked the home location. Walmart is 5-7 minutes away and it just made our vacation easy. We enjoyed Kissimmee and Disney World.

Our Story
In 2005, John Paul Donnelly, began his luxury villa journey. He spent three years building resorts and holiday apartments in Alanya, Turkey, along with his brother, Joe. The concept was to create the most luxurious villas on the Turkish coastline and provide clients, along with their family and friends, the opportunity to enjoy exclusive holidays together.
By 2008, after the successful development of 3 resorts, JP had well and truly fallen into the world of villa rentals. With a portfolio of 6 villas and a desire to explore new places, he decided it was time to take the villa rental business outside of Turkey. He wanted to give his clients access to beautiful holiday rentals in destinations across the globe.
The expanding villa rental company was rebranded in 2011 to 5 Star Villa Holidays, and today 5 Star Villa Holidays offers over 10,000 luxury villas around the world.
JP and his partner, Helena are currently travelling the globe, devoted to hand selecting the best villas and property management companies, and giving them their stamp of approval! 5 Star Villa Holidays' ambition goes beyond being an ordinary holiday rental company.
