When is the best time to visit Cyprus?

It is possible to visit Cyprus almost all the way through the year and still enjoy warm weather. November and March both enjoy temperatures in the twenties. The hottest weather lasts from June to September and remains in the thirties throughout the four-month period.

March sees the start of the hot weather with temperatures ranging between the twenties and thirties. In October and November it is still warm, with temperatures in October often as high as 27°C. By November, you can expect temperatures to drop down to around 22°C.

December to February is winter in Cyprus. However, in this beautiful, sunny isle, winter means temperatures of around 18°C. Be warned though, that this is the rainy season so you may still see some sun but it will be accompanied by a lot of rain.

A large proportion of travellers to Ayia Napa are in their twenties so much of Ayia Napa shuts down in winter. For the full Ayia Napa experience, you need to hit the shores in the summer months for the international DJs, events and club nights.

Our Story

In 2005, John Paul Donnelly, began his luxury villa journey. He spent three years building resorts and holiday apartments in Alanya, Turkey, along with his brother, Joe. The concept was to create the most luxurious villas on the Turkish coastline and provide clients, along with their family and friends, the opportunity to enjoy exclusive holidays together.

By 2008, after the successful development of 3 resorts, JP had well and truly fallen into the world of villa rentals. With a portfolio of 6 villas and a desire to explore new places, he decided it was time to take the villa rental business outside of Turkey. He wanted to give his clients access to beautiful holiday rentals in destinations across the globe.

The expanding villa rental company was rebranded in 2011 to 5 Star Villa Holidays, and today 5 Star Villa Holidays offers over 10,000 luxury villas around the world.

JP and his partner, Helena are currently travelling the globe, devoted to hand selecting the best villas and property management companies, and giving them their stamp of approval! 5 Star Villa Holidays' ambition goes beyond being an ordinary holiday rental company.
